HOW YOU CAN HELP THE DANCEHOUSE APPEAL

DanceEast's new DanceHouse is not only a part of the regeneration of the Ipswich Waterfront at Cranfields' Mill but a key flagship for the arts in the East of England. We are turning to the generosity of individuals, charitable trusts, foundations, the public and corporate sector to make our vision a reality.

This is a unique opportunity to put culture at the centre of a dynamic transformation that will benefit the community, business and the arts. We know you'll want to be a part of the long-term development of DanceEast, as we establish a new home base and offer ground-breaking opportunities for dance, and a new focal point for urban regeneration. We want to give you an exclusive opportunity to participate in this development.

Please join us as we take on the challenge of ensuring a future for dance in the East of England by creating a DanceHouse for one of the UK's most creative arts organisations. Your support of our DanceHouse Appeal will make our vision a reality.

		£1,000 Commission of visual art for the new DanceHouse DanceEast is looking for patrons for the commissioning of art for the new DanceHouse. 2-3 visual artists will be commissioned to produce new work that will become centre pieces in the new facilities. You will be invited to the unveiling of these commissions and your name will be included on a plaque beside the artwork.
		£500 buys you an individual seat in the Studio Theatre This is your opportunity to make a lasting impression in the 200 seat studio theatre. One of the seats will have a plaque bearing your name or that of a friend, relative or loved one. You will be guaranteed to sit in your personalised seat for one performance during our inaugural season.
		£250 buys you a brick DanceEast will need a lot of bricks to build the new DanceHouse. We will commission a special piece of art that will incorporate the names of all the donors. You will be invited to the unveiling of this new work of art during our opening season.
		£100 buys you a metre of barre No, not bar, but barre, and our dancers are going to need a lot of it! The studios will require 100s of metres of ballet barre, as well as portable barres for larger classes and touring. You will be acknowledged on a plaque in the new DanceHouse and be invited to see our dancers hard at work in class.
		£50 buys you a square metre of dance floor Without custom-built dance floors, dancers whether taking their first tentative steps or doing 32 fouetté turns, can’t work to their potential. We are therefore investing in 1000s of metres of dance floor for the new DanceHouse. You will be acknowledged in our first season’s programme and will be given a sample of dance lino when you attend your first performance or class.
